Wegovy or Mounjaro for weight loss or obesity
Despite media announcements that weight loss injections/ Mounjaro will be available from GPs from 23rd June, this is not the case.
Your general practice or hospital services will not be able to prescribe Wegovy or Mounjaro for weight loss or obesity until arrangements are in place.
Please do not contact your GP or hospital service for medication for weight management as they have been asked not to prescribe it at this time.
